The Backyard Card was founded in 2023. We are on a mission to get the general public choosing local over chains, because we all know that's where the best food is. We are a team of two, Amy and Ethan.

@ethanwaller is an avid lover of outdoor open fire cooking and has been in professional rugby for 13 years. During that time he has owned a Neapolitan pizza trailer business and opened a successful restaurant. Amy runs local food promotion platform @hangermanagementuk - seeking the very best places to eat and drink in the local area. Amy is an experienced marketing professional, with a passion for social and digital marketing. These assets, combined with 20 years of friendship (largely built around eating and drinking), make us a pretty good team!
